Hi there, I'm back with a little reminder about our current challenge over at Uniko and the theme for this one is Spring with the optional twist of 'Easter'

This time I've teamed the Originally Organics with the Additions set that was recently released and done a little 'spot' colouring using pencils. I've used the same sentiment combo as my original challenge card; Simply Said Birthday and Some Bunny to do the Easter twist!

As always there's plenty of fantastic creations by my fellow teamies, so why not head over to the Uniko blog HERE to check out the links and pay them a visit! I'm sure they'd appreciate it!

You have until Friday, 21st April to link up to the challenge and all the details you need about prizes and how to play can be found over at Uniko HERE

As always thanks for calling by my blog today and I hope you feel inspired and will play along with us!

Less is More #321

Morning friends, are you ready for this week's challenge at

Less is More

This week it's our Recipe week and here's the Cue Card

Not too difficult??? Here's my cards and I seem to be making a lot of 'teal' cards at the moment!
Hee Hee ... I obviously can't move on from the 'mainly teal' challenge so here's another

Recipe: Inks: Altenew
Stamps: Paper Smooches: Botanicals 2 & Winnie & Walter: Big and Bold YOU
Dies: Paper Smooches: Stitched Frame

It's a Clean and Simple week over at Addicted to Stamps and More
so I'd like to pop my card in there

Not so teal this time and going with an Easter theme in non-traditional colours.
This one uses:
Stamps: Mama Elephant - Carnival Cupcakes and CBS Cool Chicks
Promarkers and Filmstrip Frame die by Pretty Pink Posh

Don't forget to check out the fabulous designs from my fellow teamies over on the
 main blog HERE and we also have a guest designer for you this week;
Nonni of Nonni's Handmade Cards who was the winner of Week 1
of our Birthday challenges. I hope you'll pay her a visit too.

Hope you'll play along and have some fun.
Thanks for calling by and I'll be back soon!

AAA CAS Cards Challenge #86

Hello there friends, it's time for another challenge over at

AAA CAS Cards

The theme for this one is Die-Cuts so minimal stamping and if possible ALL die-cuts.
Here's my card, in fact I've gone a little mad here as this design ended up being great for
a couple of two-fers using the positive and negative portions of the die-cut sentiment
from Impression Obsession. The first card below also uses a Next Level EF from WeR
Memory Keepers and the others use an inside out diagonal stitched rectangle die from MFT.
All the panels are mounted on 3d foam with a few sprinkles and gems for added interest.

Here's our little photo inspiration plus  there's plenty more super CAS creations
by my fellow teamies, with links to their blogs on the AAA Cards blog HERE

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is Judy of Judy's Card Corner
She has a wonderful CAS style and  I do hope you'll pop along and visit her blog.
I'm sure she'll appreciate it.

Our sponsor for this challenge is STAMPlorations with our lucky winner
receiving a product specified by Shery to the value of $15

As always thanks for calling by my blog today and I hope
you feel inspired and will play along with us!

Less is More #320

Morning friends, are you ready for this week's challenge at

Less is More

This week it's our THEME week and we'd like to see some Washi tape

Here's mine and there's loads of fabulous designs from my fellow teamies
over on the main blog HERE with links to their own blogs.
Do check them out and pay them a visit if you've time - they'd love it!

I was rather lacking in mojo this week and still am but this is what
I've managed in the hope that it might inspire you a little.

First up and a little on the silly side! I decided I NEEDED some new
rolls of washi tape for this challenge and bought a pack with apples and
pears on one of the rolls - can you see where this is going?

So a rummage in my stash revealed a WPlus9 set that's never been used plus the
matching dies. I covered some cardstock with the different tapes and die-cut
my pears, assembled the card quite quickly and added one of the sentiments.

Ok it's Christmas in March for me!!! Not really but another pack of
washi tape had this gorgeous mix of purple and turquoise which I decided
could be quite Christmassy!!! Yes? Maybe not but again I covered a piece
of cardstock with the purple tape then die-cut a few snowflakes by Uniko.
Added a few strips of the coordinating tape behind, a couple of gems and a
sentiment also from the Uniko set: Stunning Snowflakes

Next up is a little sneaky peek as I'm the DT inspiration over at
Uniko this morning and for this one I had a go at home-made washi tape
so if you want to see more then please head over to the Uniko blog HERE

So that's all from me and I hope you'll play along and have some fun.

Thanks for calling by and I'll be back soon!

Uniko Challenge #40

Hello crafty friends it's that time again when we are announcing our latest
challenge over at

Uniko

The theme for this one is Spring with an optional twist of Easter

Here's my card using one of the older but stunningly beautiful florals:
Pure Florals - Gerbera. This would have to be my favourite Uniko bloom and
although it's perhaps a little earlier in the year for Gerbera flowers here in the UK
I've coloured it using Spring colours and to keep with the Easter twist I've combined
a sentiment from Some Bunny with the 'Happy' from Simply Said birthday.

As always there's plenty of fantastic creations by my fellow teamies,
so why not head over to the Uniko blog HERE to check out the links
and pay them a visit! I'm sure they'd appreciate it!

What's more we have 2 of our previous winners at Uniko Guest Designing for
this challenge. Their cards are real beauties so I hope you'll pop along and
pay them a visit. Here's the links you need for Marianne and Milka

You have until Friday 21st April to link up to the challenge and all the details you
need about prizes and how to play can be found over at Uniko HERE

As always thanks for calling by my blog today and I hope

Uniko REVIST Some Bunny - March 2017

Hello there fellow crafters it's a REVIST month over at

Uniko

where Bev askes us to 'dig out', dust down and bring a previously released
set back into the spotlight! This month it's the Spring favourite 'Some Bunny'
In fact I haven't used it as a spring-like card at all instead a Baby Welcome.

I've used the recently released Half-tone Background stamp behind my
heart shaped window, coloured the bunny with promarkers and added
a simple sentiment from the Simply Said range. The heart dies are by WPlus9.

As is the tradition there's a blog hop giveaway; the prize being the
featured set or a gift card to the same value if you already own it.

You'll find all the details including the links to to my teamies blogs
and a sneaky peek at what they've created over at Uniko HERE

Before I leave you to hop here's the image of the sets and as always thanks
for visiting my blog today and I wish you lots of luck on the hop!

Less is More #319

Morning friends, are you ready for this week's challenge at

Less is More

This week it's our dreaded ONE LAYER week and here's our
cue card showing the theme we've chosen

It's usually an Autumn theme but as it's quite spring-like here in the UK
right now I decided to go with some lighter tones of orange and green
on my first one. Plus I was experimenting with my new Altenew Inks.
The leaf set I've used is by Uniko: Paradise Leaves and I've teamed
it with a brushed sentiment by Clearly Besotted

Using another couple of sets from Uniko here and just to show
that it doesn't have to be Christmas to use a holly leaf! Again I've
used Altenew inks in various green tones along with Delicata Gold ink
for some mini flowers plus a gold gel pen for added dotty detail and the
hand-drawn lines along the top and bottom of my stamped areas.

Last but not least ... who says leaves have to be traditional colours!
Here I just wanted to go mad with those Altenew inks again because
I just love all the different tones in each pack. I've used the leaf stamp
from another Clearly Besotted set: English Rose plus a bold sentiment
by My Favourite Things with the 'Your Day' from Avery Elle

Three is pretty good for me these days so I'm hoping to see lots of
dynamic leafy inspiration from you crafty folk on the LIM blog this week.

There's loads of fabulous designs from my fellow teamies
over on the main blog HERE with links to their own blogs.
Do check them out and pay them a visit if you've time - they'd love it!

Hope you'll play along and have some fun.
Thanks for calling by and I'll be back soon!

AAA CAS Cards Challenge #85

Hello there friends, it's time for another challenge over at
AAA CAS Cards
The theme for this one is 'Oscar Red Carpet' and here's my card followed by a
little photo inspiration for you too ...

Yep ... it's Christmas in March but I'm not really that organised!
I decided that this Christmas tree image by Inkylicious resembled the
photo inspiration below. It's heat embossed in WOW Metallic Rich
pale gold along with the sentiment which is by Happy Little Stampers.

As always there's plenty more super CAS creations by my fellow teamies,
with links to their blogs on the AAA Cards blog HERE

We are also joined by Hazel of Hazel's Paper Designs
a previous winner of our challenges, who is Guest Designing for this one.
Do pop along and visit her blog and leave a friendly word and some love -
I'm sure she'll appreciate it.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Happy Little Stampers and one lucky winner
will receive $15 gift certificate.

As always thanks for calling by my blog today and I hope
you feel inspired and will play along with us!

Less is More #318

Morning friends, are you ready for this week's challenge at

Less is More

After all those birthday shenanigans last month, sadly we are back to our normal routine.
The first week of the month signals the return of our COLOUR challenge and
we welcome back our very generous sponsor: Dies to Die For

Here's mine and there's loads of fabulous designs from my fellow teamies
over on the main blog HERE with links to their own blogs.
Do check them out and pay them a visit if you've time - they'd love it!

I simply can't get enough of this stunning foliage heart from the newest sets from Uniko
(Originally Organics Additions) which was released last weekend. I've coloured the
image with Promarkers and used silver embossed hearts and 'congratulations' sentiment by Uniko.
The 'Mr & Mrs' is by CBS and I've used a stitched basic border die from MFT Die-Namics

Teal has to be one of my favourite colours EVER so I've a second card for you;
using a die by Tim Holtz / Sizzix Mixed Media. Behind the die-cut I've inky blended
distress inks in various teal shades then popped both panels on 3d fun foam for extra dimension.
The sentiment is by Altenew and I've rounded one corner of both my panel and card base.

Hope you'll play along and have some fun.
Thanks for calling by and I'll be back soon

Happy Little Stampers March 2017 - CAS Challenge

Hi there, it's time for this month's challenge over at Happy Little Stampers
CAS Challenge and here's our theme for this month

I think my all-time favourite HLS set (so far) has to be Butterfly Birthday,
which I've used here, especially as I've got the matching dies too!
First of all I die-cut a scalloped rectangle using WPlus9 Sunshine Layers dies
then die-cut my butterflies out of the same panel. The butterflies were then
stamped and heat-embossed before colouring with distress inks then popped
back into the die-cut apertures but slightly raised on glue-dots to add some dimension
to the wings. Finally the sentiment is heat embossed in the same powder which is
also from Happy Little Stampers: Fun birthday Sentiments

Our challenge is sponsored by HLS and one lucky person will
win a prize so why not join in - there's a whole month to do so!

You might even like to link up to some of the other Happy Little Stampers
challenges and all the details are on the blog HERE

Ok I hope you feel inspired to play along with us and don't forget to
pop along to the CAS Challenge blog found HERE where you'll find
all the links and designs by fellow teamies ... you're in for a treat!

Thanks as always for visiting my blog today and catch up soon!
