Uniko Revisit Pure Florals: Cosmos

Hi there friends it's time to dust off and revisit a previously released
Uniko stamp set and this month Bev has chosen the

Pure Florals: Cosmos set

Here's my card and I've teamed it with the recently released
Some Bunny set to make another Easter card.

Here's the image of the set and you'll see the flowers are
simply awesome and great for adding colour with all sorts of mediums

Just to show that you can use the images without colouring here's another
card as I'm slightly addicted to removing watercolour pigment with clear water!

To add a little interest to the card base I've stamped the outline flower around
the edges. The 'inner' panel is coloured using distress inks then more outline images
added just at the base. I've added water to the petals of each of the blooms with a
paint brush to remove the colour ever so slightly and added a sentiment from
Paradise Humming Bird with a few sequins from my stash.

As usual there's more gorgeous creations by my fellow teamies over on the Uniko blog
HERE plus details of the blog hop and how to win the set plus a £10 eGift Certificate.
 Good luck and have fun!

  1. Another couple of gorgeous cards Sarah. Wow...adore the bright colours on the first and the bunny is a real cutie. But the sophistication and elegance of the second card is so, so beautiful.

  3. Wow very careful masking for your bunny card - impressive! I do like how you've used the single stamp to make a background for your second card. The black really helps the other colours pop. I may have to try the distress ink/water brush technique! X

  8. I really think you can read my mind sometimes - LOL! I have had an idea of pairing the bunny with the flowers for some time now but hadn't got round to doing it and ta dah! You do it and even better than I could too :) I love the contrast of black and white with the beautifully coloured panel, wish I had the patience to do more interesting inked BG like you. FABULOUS showcase of this set. Hugs Bev x

  9. Made me smile to see how the bunny is using the flowers to preserve his modesty and the combo of colour and black outline flowers on the second is stunning!

  20. Your first card shows just how well the different sets combine together and makes a great Easter card. I love the second card mostly because I'm a sucker for using different techniques and the flowers look so soft and pretty after removing some of the colour. (BTW: The link to your post from the Uniko blog doesn't work so had to search for the post) Stef x
